Interested in taking part in Canada’s ultimate sprint triathlon? The Canada Man Sprint triathlon is for you. With an accessible total distance of 25.75 km (750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run), Canada Man Sprint is perfect for those interested in testing the triathlon adventure. The Canada Man Sprint is also ideal for those acting as assistants for the Canada Man Xtreme scheduled to unfold the following day.


Age group and team categories:

Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category as well as the top three overall individual male and female finishers.
The minimum age for sprint triathlons is 16 years old.



The start and finish line will be located at Parc de la Baie-des-Sables, in Lac-Mégantic.

Swimming 750 m

Swimmers will complete an out and back course from the Baie-des-Sables beach on Lac Mégantic.

Biking 20 km

The triathletes will then tackle a fabulous biking section on a road that will take them along Lac Mégantic, towards Piopolis. Since this 20-km course involves one of the same sections as the CANADA MAN event, they will of course encounter steep hills.

Running 5 km

To complete the triathlon, athletes will run 5 km along a magnificent course close to Parc de la Baie-des-Sables. The finish line will be at the park, on the shores of Lac Mégantic.
