DESCRIPTION Tri Mégantic Relay

Love team triathlons? The Relais Tri Mégantic presented by TAFISA is the ideal triathlon for a major team challenge! The course is identical to the XTRI SOLO POINT FIVE CANADA triathlon, with a 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike and 20 km run, mostly on trails in Parc national du Mont-Mégantic, with the finish at the top of the observatory!

Supply & assistance

  • Transition : The athlete may receive assistance at transition 1 and 2.
  • Bike refreshments: The organization will provide one (1) refreshment station at km 40. Please note that assistants are not allowed on the bike course.
  • Running:

    The athlete must receive assistance at transition 2 (Bike/Run). The organization does not take care of the bikes.

  • Arrival: The organization offers shuttles from the top of the mountain to the base (SEPAQ Visitor Center). It is the athlete’s responsibility to arrange transportation home after the triathlon.

  • Access to the summit of Mont-Mégantic: Access to the summit is included for participants. It will be possible for your companions to use the shuttle bus to get to the summit. However, it’s mandatory to have paid their access fee before boarding. Here is the link to pay your additional access fee in advance: https: //www.sepaq.com/fr/reservation/achat/acces-quotidien. It is also possible to get there on foot (5 km). Note that it is forbidden to go to the summit in your own vehicle.
