With a total distance of 25.75 km (750 metres of swimming, 20 km of cycling and 5 km of trail running), the Canada Man/Woman Sprint is perfect for people who want to try the adventure of extreme triathlon. The sprint is also perfect for the assistants of the extreme Canada Man/Woman who will take place the next day and who would like to participate in the event!

Registration for the Canada Man/Woman Extreme Triathlon presented by Tafisa 2021 will open on November 1, 2019. The registration period closes on June 27.

Course
Interested in taking part in Canada’s ultimate sprint triathlon? The Canada Man/Woman Sprint triathlon presented by Tafisa is for you. With an accessible total distance of 25.75 km (750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run), Canada Man Sprint is perfect for those interested in testing the triathlon adventure. The Canada Man Sprint is also ideal for those acting as assistants for the Canada Man Xtreme scheduled to unfold the following day.
The start and finish line will be located at Parc de la Baie-des-Sables, in Lac-Mégantic.
Swimming
Swimmers will complete an out and back course from the Baie-des-Sables beach on Lac Mégantic.
Biking
The triathletes will then tackle a fabulous biking section on a road that will take them along Lac Mégantic, towards Piopolis. Of course, there will be good ribs to climb on this very beautiful 20 km course, since the route borrows a section of CANADA MAN/WOMAN Extreme.
Running
To complete the triathlon, athletes will have to run 5 km in the trails of Baie-des-Sables Park. The finish line will be at the park, on the shores of Lac Mégantic.

Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category as well as the top three overall individual male and female finishers. The minimum age for sprint triathlons is 16.
